Account & Data Deletion
We respect your right to have your personal data deleted from our systems. If you wish to permanently delete your OyaPOS account and all associated data, please use the form below to submit your request.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, phone number, and login credentials
- Business Data: Business name, address, and settings
- Product Information: All products, inventory data, and pricing information
- Sales Records: All transaction history, receipts, and sales reports
- Customer Data: Customer information and transaction history
- Employee Data: Employee accounts and access permissions
- Reports & Analytics: All generated reports and business analytics
- App Usage Data: Usage patterns and preferences
Data Retention Requirements
Please note that certain data may be retained for legal and regulatory compliance:
- Financial Records: Some transaction data may be retained for up to 7 years as required by tax and accounting regulations
- Legal Compliance: Data required for ongoing legal proceedings or regulatory requirements
- Aggregated Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you personally
Submit Deletion Request
Please fill out the form below to request deletion of your account and data. We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once completed.
Alternative Options
Temporary Account Deactivation
If you're not sure about permanently deleting your account, you can temporarily deactivate it instead. This will:
- Prevent access to your account and data
- Preserve your data for potential reactivation
- Allow you to reactivate your account within 90 days
To deactivate your account temporarily, please contact our support team at support@oyapos.com.
Data Export
Before deleting your account, you can export your data:
- Go to Settings → Data Export in the OyaPOS app
- Select the data you want to export
- Download your data in CSV or PDF format
